Biography
Early life
With Marquardt’s family came Lodi, California, Marquardt was born in the town of Tillamook, Oregon. Shortly after her birth, Marquardt’s mother moved the family back to California, where she would be raised. Her parents eventually divorced, but her mother remarried. Marquardt lived with her mother and siblings at their stepfather’s ranch. Marquardt attended Galt High School for her freshman and sophomore years. She then transferred to Lodi High School. Marquardt graduated from high school in 1990.
Career
Some of her boy friends thought that she should pose for Playboy magazine. Marquardt sent a letter to Playboy inquiring how to become a Playmate. Then, Marquardt enrolled at San Joaquin Delta Junior College. After graduating with an A.A., Marquardt transferred to California State University, Sacramento. In 1998 at the age of 25, Marquardt entered Playboy’s Millennium Playmate search. She had a successful photo shoot and was sent to the Playboy Mansion for another test shoot. Later, Marquardt graduated from CSU Sacramento with a B.A. in Communications and an emphasis on Public Relations.
In 2001, Marquardt moved to Los Angeles after earning her Master’s Degree in Communications from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, and is currently taking graduate level courses at UCLA. She immediately attracted the attention of modeling and acting agents and began appearing in small roles in movies, soap operas and graduate films. In March 2002, Bridget went on her first date with Hugh Hefner, and moved into the mansion and became one of Hefner’s girlfriends late that same year.She also found herself attending parties at the Playboy Mansion, where she became friends with a number of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends.
In the September 17, 2007 issue of Star magazine, Bridget stated that she is married, but separated and has been the entire time she has lived in the Playboy mansion. According to the interview, Bridget’s husband supported her move to LA and they have remained friends.
In media
Marquardt is featured on the E! TV show The Girls Next Door, and appeared in a pictorial in Playboy magazine’s November 2005 issue as well as the September 2006 issue. She has appeared in several films as well including the horror/comedy Kottentail in which she portrays a scientist doing genetic research on rabbits. She appeared in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm as herself along with Holly Madison and Hefner in 2005.
She also appeared in an episode of Celebrity Paranormal Project which aired on November 19, 2006. In the episode, she had the strongest connection with ghosts of anyone else in the group. She also claimed to have taken an online paranormal course because of her interests in paranormal activity.
She has also appeared in an episode of The Man Show in a search to find new juggies in 2002.
She also makes an appearance in the video game Playboy: The Mansion as one of Hugh Hefner’s playmates.
Most recently, Bridget also appeared in Nickelback’s video “Rockstar.” She, as well as Kendra Wilkinson and Holly Madison show up as the lead singer mentions Playboy Bunnies. Many other celebrities took part in the video as well.

Bridget Marquardt
Bridget Christina Sandmeier (born September 25, 1973), more commonly known as Bridget Marquardt, is an American television personality, model, and actress, best known for appearing on the popular reality television series The Girls Next Door with Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson, all girlfriends of Playboy magazine publisher Hugh Hefner.

1. HER BUTT ROCKS
“My friends did everything they could to help me win, including putting up links to FHM on their MySpace pages. I don’t know what separated me from the other girls, but the Dolphin cheerleaders said it was because of my butt. Butts are appreciated down here because of the Latin flavor going on. Our fans like the variety—I think if any of our girls were in the contest, they’d have won. It’s a Dolphin thing.”
2. SHE LOSES IT
“The Dolphins cheerleaders spent an entire day together bonding before the season started. That night, we slept in the team’s locker room and took turns imitating each other. One girl impersonated me by putting a fake tear on her cheek because I cried during my audition. That’s nothing new. I cry all the time—movies, songs, when I’m stressed. I’m a crier—I pretty much had an emotional breakdown when I found out I was voted America’s Sexiest Cheerleader.”
3. SHE’D SHARE HER POMS
“We don’t have players like Terrell Owens or Chad Johnson on the Dolphins—those guys know how to pump up the crowd. T.O. is one of my favorite players. I don’t care how cocky people say he is. He is a great player and he’s great with the fans. If he grabbed my pompoms, I’d crack up.”
4. SHE EXCUSES HERSELF
“In Miami, it can be 120 degrees down on the field, which is why, after a game, all the cheerleaders are exhausted. I start hydrating the day before a game because I know how hot it is out there. On Saturdays, I sit at home and drink Gatorade all day—God knows how many times I end up going to the bathroom.”
